Description:
Celebrate the changing seasons with our Autumn Recreational Games and Family Fun Day. This event invites all ages to participate in a day of playful competition, physical challenges, and creative activities designed to entertain and energize.
Starting at 10:00 AM, families can explore a variety of game stations scattered across the premises. These stations feature classic games like bocce ball, horseshoes, and badminton, as well as modern adaptations of traditional sports to accommodate all skill levels. Volunteer facilitators will provide instructions and encourage participation in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
The event offers a special “Challenge Circuit” tailored for adolescents and adults, where participants can test their endurance and agility through timed obstacle courses combining running, jumping, and balance tasks.
For younger children, a creative zone will host arts and crafts workshops where they can design their own sports gear, decorate team flags, or create autumn-themed decorations, promoting both creativity and community spirit.
Lunch will be served at noon, featuring locally sourced seasonal foods and beverages to nourish participants. The meal area will also include informal discussions about the benefits of regular physical activity and ideas for maintaining an active lifestyle throughout the colder months.
The afternoon session resumes with family relay races, combining speed, coordination, and teamwork. Prizes will be awarded not only for performance but also for enthusiasm, creativity, and sportsmanship.
Throughout the day, participants can enjoy live demonstrations of less conventional sports such as ultimate frisbee and disc golf, with opportunities to try these activities under expert guidance.
Autumn Recreational Games and Family Fun Day is designed to foster community engagement, promote active living, and provide a joyful, inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.
